Accommodation

A number of rooms have been allocated for conference attendees at the Caltech Athenaeum and nearby Saga Motor Hotel.

Athenaeum
Call (626) 395-8200 to make a reservation, quoting the confirmation number 7058285. The rate is $160.00 per night, plus tax. Free parking, free internet and complimentary access to the Caltech gym are provided. The rooms will be held until January 22nd, 2009, at which time any unbooked rooms will be released. After that date, reservations will be made upon availability.

Saga Motor Hotel
Call (800) 793-7242 or (626) 795-0431 to make a reservation, quoting the TGP Symposium group reservation under the name of Rena Becerra. The rates are $79.00 per night, plus tax, for 2 double beds and $77.00 per night, plus tax, for 1 double bed. The cut off date to make reservations before these rooms are released is February 8th, 2009. After that date, reservations will be made upon availability.

Parking

Parking for the conference will be provided in a garage called the California Parking Structure #3. It is located adjacent to the Cahill Center, on the south side of California Blvd, and is listed as building number 126 on the Caltech campus map. Attendees will be responsible for parking fees, which are collected via an automated pay station at the garage when you park your car. Payment can be made by cash or credit card. Fees are $1 per hour, $5 per day, or $15 per week. The machine issues a receipt which must be placed inside your vehicle and visible through the windshield. The garage is open 24 hours.
