For the breakout box, the following parts will be needed:
1 This price is fairly arbitrary. It was assumed that 25 amplifiers will be used from a $20,000 fabrication run.2 This price assumes that 50 transition pairs will be used from a $2,500 fabrication run.
3 The DC bias connector uses a non-standard metric thread size. The Caltech Submillimeter Wave Astrophysics group has 2 custom-made taps to cut these threads.

5 The 0.1 uF capacitors need to be tested at cryogenic temperatures to determine their cold capacitance value and to find out if they can survive repeated temperature cycling.
